Adorable European Robin in a 5x7 inch shadowbox frame.
Inspired by my time living in the UK, I became intrigued by common British wildlife. European Robins are smaller than their North American cousins and a bit less shy of people.
This piece is made entirely from colored paper and mounted to a heavy weight watercolor paper.
What is Paper Quilling?
Paper quilling is the art of rolling and arranging paper into intricate patterns and details. Each piece is handcrafted using thin strips of colored paper which is then glued onto a backing which results in a richly textured, two dimensional piece of original art.
